We are very excited to announce this new release, a live album of the cult project James Rays Gangwar. James is known to the Label followers for it's 25Men super band & by releasing in 2008 "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" album. The forthcoming CD release "Before & After The Storm " was recorded in 1993, it contains all the classic hits of the band.
As may you know, this project was signed on Andrew Eldritch's (Sisters Of Mercy/Sisterhood) label Merciful Release.

I like the subtle way in which the tracks connect to the album cover, making this resting maiden the center point — calm in the midst of storm. (Just my interpretation maybe but the cover gives extra depth to the music... a softer undertone). The image reminds me of ‘Annunciation’ by Dante G. Rossetti used in ‘Adrenaline’ music video. ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ puts me at peace with big disappointments — a bittersweet musical potion. nicabreeze
